you have to realise if u do get it cut like that, it wont be exactly the same as hers because her hair is most likely naturally straight or chemically straightened. you'd have to straighten it every day to even attempt to make it look like that all the time. I think it depends- some girls' short hairstyles can look really cute (see Mandy Moore in her short hair phase), taking into consideration the girl's face shape, facial features, personal style, etc. Also, guys can look good with long hair, but in my experience because they don't style/really take care of the hair, it doesn't look very good.

Hi rach...as a girl, my experience has been that guys prefer long hair. The consensus is that a couple of inches above shoulder length is the shortest a girl should go to still have sex appeal.

Personally, I believe a girl can look sexy w/a short -do (look at Halle Berry before she grew out her hair/got extensions), but I think a girl has to have good bone structure and what not to pull off a short -do. A wide face and a short -do doesn't exactly match.

In today's society, I don't know if you can really say that more lesbians have short hair than bi or straight women. I'd say that the older women get, it seems the shorter their hair gets, but I don't really think you can define that trend by sexuality.

In general though, I expect it's for ease of prep in the morning, less time needed to get ready for bed, and less hair dye to be used if you dye your hair. I used to have hair halfway down my back, now it's just below my shoulders, and straightening it no longer takes 3 hours, thank heaven!

A. my boyfriend loves it (so obviously some guys like short hair which means you're wrong.)

B. i would shave my hair all off if i wanted to, because it's my freaking hair and no one elses. and I don't care what ANYONE thinks, not just guys.

I've learned not to go have it recut,not even by someone else,they always seem to make it allot worse even when it was fixable. I work with the bad cut and the hair I have left. I never like it,but you just have to deal with it until it grows out. Wear it up,curl it to blend in uneven layers ,wear scarves,it might not be something you would normally do,but if it can get you through the bad cut,then do it. it really depends on the cut and if you're picky or not.

for me, it's super easy because i have it about 2 inches/3 inches long in the back, and then my bangs go down to about my mouth. so i just spike/mess up the back and straighten the bangs, and i'm done in like 10 minutes tops.

if all you're going to do is straighten it or something along those lines, it's going to be super easy. just know that with ear-length hair, there's not much else you can do with it besides short pigtails or something. if you go a little longer or shorter you could do tons of stuff.

She's got a cute, spunky, firecracker personality, and loves colors like green, yellow, and orange. She can pull off a funky do, but I just can't figure out how to do anything.

I've tried doing a messy spiky do with a super stiff gel that has fibers in it, and topping it off with hair spray, but in 3 hours it has gone flat. I tried putting velcro bows in, and they fall out. I even tried gluing the velcro bow in with a dab of the gel glue (which held for about 4 hours).

I'm not sure where to find hair accessories that might work for her, and haven't a clue about how to fix her uber short hair. I've looked at websites, but they all seem to be for adults.
