It depends on the structure of your face. If your face is oval, then keep it long but if it's like heart-shaped or something roundish, then keep it short...just to your shoulders. I would prefer a layer with some wispy bangs but that depends on if it will look good on the right person. But since this is still summer, I like it short.

Hello, your question is easier to answer than you think. Cutting your hair is a personal decision you need to make on your own. However, I can give you some stellar advice that has carried me through life quite well since I first read it in a teen magazine many years ago. Do not make any major changes to your body or lifestyle in reaction to any emotional event that recently happened to you. For instance, if you just broke up, feel you failed in a relationship, or suffered a personal loss, etc... don't do something you normally would not do like get a tattoo, a new piercing, cut your hair, dye your hair or even perm your hair because you suddenly feel you need a change. Trust me on this one! If you make a big change in your appearance to forget something bad that happened, in the end that change is actually going to remind you of the bad thing every time you see yourself, and make you feel worse. So, is it really time for a change, or are you reacting to something you need to deal with? I don't mean to be preachy, but if I had gotten this advice before I cut my hair for a guy in High School, I would have been a lot better off sooner than later! Just take a few minutes to figure out why you are considering a change, before you make one for the wrong reason and regret it later. Good luck!
