It takes a little while...I had mine cut from just above my waist to shoulder-length about 3 weeks ago. I'm finally getting used to it, and I love it. It's soooooo much easier. It doesn't "stick to me" in the shower, and it's much cooler this summer. I just always thought I was the hot-natured person, but I have found I'm not nearly as warm this summer. Give it time; you'll get used to it.
