Should I cut my hair very very short?

I have really long black locks, (longer than in my avatar) and I've had my hair long for about a year... But it makes my hair go heavy when I swim, or have a shower. I am going to get it cut later, do you think I should cut it very short?

I think that you should get it cut shoulder length. Maybe even get it layered if you want it to be lighter. That's what i did, and I love my new hair!

Well if your face is heart shapes, as in looks like your avatar get a short hair cut like that, nice layers and lighten it a bit. It will give you a fresh new look.
