Short hair and color question please?

my hair's a little past my shoulders now and i dont like it on me, (i've cut it short before so no big deal) im gonna get this cut or one like it:

i think the color's cute too but i've always wanted to get lowlights. idk if that would look weird together or which one should i get? lowlights or just the highlights? any ideas hair people??

Well, it's certainly a cute cut.

Lowlights are really just less dramatic than highlights, but can help enhance the color either way. Having them done every few times you have your hair highlighted helps bring out the color more, but it really all depends on the colors you're going for and how dramatic you want the look to be.
